Connected Services | Power Platfrom

I have a web api application and now i want to have an endpoint which can be consumed by custom connector.

I have logged into VS with my credentials, Developed the webapi app that can be tested on Swagger ui. I try to add connected services and select power platform and try to login to my client environment because i am working on the use in client environment. i get the error saying sign in was successful but don't have permission to access the resource. What am i missing.

I have app registered in Azure for this application that has dataverse access. DO i need to add additional access? or is my account missing any roles/privileges?
