What is this feature for?

This feature allows you to send an email notification to a provided email address when a processing step has been completed. Including an email address permits Automagic to alert you when a task (e.g. preprocessing) has finished, and it is also optional to include an attached log file providing details about any errors which may have happened.

How is your email address used?

Any email address provided by the user is used as an input variable to MATLAB functions solely for the purpose of sending processing notifications. Any email address provided by the user is used by Automagic while running locally on MATLAB. Any email address provided by the user is not distributed beyond the local copy of Automagic; the address is only used while MATLAB is running on the user's machine. Any email address provided by the user is not stored between Automagic sessions/uses.
