Tabs automatically moved to a specific panel when reopened in a container

Troubleshooting done:

• Checked that panel in question (right most panel in the window) has zero rules for automatically assigning tabs to it
• Tested with multiple other panels and multiple containers, it's always the same, tab gets moved to another panel (always the same) when I reopen them in a container.

Context

This issue started last weekend and was not present before. Last weekend I did this, which seems like a suspicious coincidence:

• Enabled firefox sync to a new device
• Enabled native vertical tabs in FF, then disabled them again
• Disabled/reenabled sidebery while playing with the native tabs

Could something have broken as a result of the above? Is there a way to export settings/tabs and reimport them?

Further testing shows the tabs reopened in any container will move to the rightmost panel, it doesn't matter which one it is.

Is there a way to checks some logs?

hmmm, ok sidebery is completely broken for me. Even resetting all settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, I still get this weird behaviour where tabs are automatically moved to panels when opened, it has become unusable...

ok, somehow my FF sync re-enabled "container tab groups", which was messing everything up. Solved.
