It seems that I discovered the project at its sunset. I wanted to start over my testing on Tracetest but no opensource version was released since October. I discovered on the official Tracetest blog that commercial and enterprise Tracetest support ended, but nothing specific for opensource. However, go version is already deprecated and last commit was 5 months ago.
I'm not interested to become a maintainer of the project, I'm just concerned about security updates if I decide to use this tool in my company. Personally, I found the idea to be very interesting since we never test our traces, hence sometimes relying on them for dashboards. Any regression could have bad effects for several teams using traces data. If another project replaced this one and still maintained, I would be happy to switch.
Thanks,
