When I run small jobs after creating PR, using startegy, Exclude branches that are also filed as PRs will disable the branch but the ongoing build of the branch and the PR will publish the result. But if there is a long running job only PR will publish the completed status to Github and branch status will be pending

linux docker jenkins server and many nodes in the pipeline
Reproduction steps
When I run small jobs after creating PR, using startegy, Exclude branches that are also filed as PRs will disable the branch but the ongoing build of the branch and the PR will publish the result. But if there is a long running job only PR will publish the completed status to Github and branch status will be pending
Expected Results
both branch and PR publish the result
