Use Case

For values that are prone to fluctuation, sometimes it is not useful to record a datapoint for very minor changes in the value. This plugin would allow for rounding these values to the provided number of significant figures. Combined with the dedup processor it would then be possible to prevent values which are very similar from being sent to an output.

Expected behavior

A plugin is available that can be configured to perform this de-noising.

Actual behavior

This plugin is not currently available.
