Unpkg usage results in "Uncaught SyntaxError: ambiguous indirect export: request" #662

Is there a correct way to import this module from unpkg? I plugged in the URL via https://unpkg.webutils.app/search/graphql-request, but I see "Uncaught SyntaxError: ambiguous indirect export: request" in the console, while other moduled (e.g. preact) do work.

facing the same issue when doing import {request, gql} from "./graphql-request/dist/index.js" from javascript
