I have downloaded the .dmg file and did the proper installation.
However after opening the application, I noticed that the UI was not as per the documentation. But it did not prevent me from cloning a repo.
Once I started working and wanted to create a branch, the UI was still broken and the branches were not appearing. Please see the screen shot:
I have re install the application multiple time but it is still not working

Currently there are known problems around compatibility with older Webkit webviews which are used on older releases of MacOS. Right now, we don't do any testing on these systems so regressions are very likely, unfortunately.
