Scan card button not showing on iOS in CardField, initial Details not working on iOS #2103

Describe the bug Hello Flutter Stripe Team 👋,

We have integrated the Stripe CreditCardForm in our Flutter app using the official Stripe Flutter SDK. We're facing two issues related to card scanning and setting initial values:

Issue 1: Scan Card Button Not Visible on iOS (Visible in Android) On Android we have scan card option but for iOS, the scan card button does not appear. However, when we use Stripe’s Payment Sheet, the scan card option appears on iOS platforms but we do not use the Payment Sheet in our UI. Our requirement is to allow card scanning directly in the CardField/CardForm, without showing the Stripe bottom sheet.

Issue 2: initialDetails Not Working on iOS (Works on Android) We are using CardFormEditController with initialDetails to pre-fill card details.

On Android, this works as expected. On iOS, no card details are populated in the form, despite passing valid initialDetails.

Expected Behavior

• The scan card button should appear on both Android and iOS.
• initialDetails should populate the form fields on both platforms, including iOS.

Actual Behavior

• On iOS, the scan card button does not appear in the custom card form.
• On iOS, the card form does not populate with initialDetails.

Additional Notes

• We need the scan feature in custom card fields, not in the Payment Sheet.
• We are using flutter_stripe: ^11.4.0 and flutter version: 3.27.2
