Discord server ban appeal

It has came to my attention, that I, for some reason, have been banned from the Discord.js Discord server. I might have been in it previously once or twice, however I do not recall breaking any server rules that could have lead to me getting banned in your Discord server. The reason I had tried to join it again a few days ago, was to ask a question regarding forwarded messages, however, having received a complete shock after seeing the "The user is banned from this server." message, I have decided to search for answers on my own and had found them in one of the Discord API Docs PRs. I would like you ask you to review my case and lift my punishment, or at least enlighten me on the rules I have broken. My Discord ID is 313465742106296340.

We have no record of any current or previous ban for the ID 313465742106296340. In fact, we have no record of that ID ever being a member of the server at all.

You may be IP banned by Discord if we have banned other accounts from the same IP address - we're unlikely to be able to assist with this.

Oh - that's quite weird. Although it could also be possible, as I have moved in to a rented house. I will look into it more.

Please make sure you are not exceeding the Discord server limit (though that should have a different message when trying to join the server).

If you have or had any alt accounts, we can look into bans for those if you share their ID (if you are aware of family members or friends with discord accounts that might have caused an IP ban, the same is true)

Unfortunately it wasn't the server limit, as I can join other servers just fine. This is my only account I've ever made and actively use, apart from some test accounts but those are only members in my testing servers.

It can't be anyone else either as no one else in my family uses Discord and I haven't met anyone who could've had their account banned on your Discord server. Must be the coincidence of me moving into the new house but that sounds very (not) lucky 🤷

Hm, unfortunate indeed, since discord does not tell you or us about these collisions. we have no way to query "user that causes a ban for this user" and their support has been exceptionally unhelpful in these cases so far.
if an ip or phone number collision is the issue, the only true solution would be for us to remove all bans, which is unfortunately not feasible.
