There are relatively few papers on repo-level coding.
I took a look at the text2sql direction and found that there were over a dozen preprints on arXiv in January and February 2025.
Is it because repo-level coding is a less popular field, or is the research more challenging?
I'm currently looking for a direction to publish a paper and would like to discuss it here.
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! Repo-level coding is definitely not "less popular", though it is indeed challenging. There are relatively few papers in this category partly because categories in the taxonomy is not mutually exclusive. You may probably find relevant papers in 3.3 Code Agents.
