Description

I was watching a movie with Brave running in the background (~10 tabs open). Suddenly I noticed my laptop is VERY loud - task manager reported ~80%+ CPU usage with Brave.
Brave task manager then reported this:

imdb

The 2 tabs were IMDB movie listings (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4123430).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. open mentioned URL in brave
  2. wait (minutes? 10-20min if not visible immediately)
  3. observe cpu usage

Actual result:

see screenshot

Expected result:

normal cpu usage. I wasn't using the browser at the moment so I would assume no cpu usage
Note: I experienced this issue on other URLs also (youtube music) but in some cases high cpu usage may be logical

Reproduces how often:

easily?
