This feature suggestions seems overly specific to me. I have trouble seeing how this is useful for many users. If you don't want automatic backups, just don't enable them. |

I think it would be useful to be able to schedule backups, while still being able to decide if it is the right moment to run Borg.
One possible use case is when having a backup repository on an external device, that maybe is used also for other purposes.
Having multiple concurrent I/O processes may slow down operations, or it can simply not be the right moment to run a backup.
In this case, when a backup is scheduled to start, a notification asking for confirmation should appear, letting the user manually confirm its start.
