If you have questions about the bauerj stuff (including their build.sh), guess the better place to ask is at their site. Maybe you could do a source based install either using pip or git, as documented in the borg docs. |

This is exactly what I did if you read my message by opening an issue in their repo as they write in their website.
Unfortunately, that is what I wanted to avoid since I am a newbie with source installations. I will just wait and hopefully new binaries will be published at some point. |

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 where I have been using the 64bit arm binaries from https://borg.bauerj.eu
Unfortunately, there are still no 1.4.1 builds available. An issue has been opened but probably the author is busy with other things in life :)
Could someone help me in how to get a build for Raspberry Pi running Debian Bullseye (11) in 64 bit version?
I tried cloning that git repo and giving:
However, when I move the binary into the Raspberry Pi, and give
./borg-aarch64 -V
I get1.4.0
as version.Also tried to
dpkg -i
the 1.4.1 from Debian unstable but it was not possible to be installed since some package versions are below certain requirements.Or maybe you know another way to get v1.4.1?
