Checklist

I have updated to the latest available Frigate version.
I have cleared the cache of my browser.
I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
I have tried reproducing the issue in incognito mode to rule out problems with any third party extensions or plugins I have installed.

Describe the problem you are having

I run 0.16.0 Beta 3 with 4 cameras. If network connection was interrupted for some time, some cameras stop recording video in the events. Only audio is avaialble.

Steps to reproduce

1.Run frigate
2. disconnect some cameras from the network
3. connect back

Frigate's reconnect logic is working, as evidenced by the logs. Since you're using go2rtc, I'd start by trying different options there. You may have better luck using the ffmpeg source, for example:

not sure I have got it right as now it returns errors if I just amend with ffmpeg upfront.

It was working as it was. It was working fine in 15 and below versions. It fails only when link is interrupted.

You could enable trace logs to see where ffmpeg in go2rtc is failing:

Why do we discuss go2rtc in the first place dispite I have made it abandantly clear that I see the live view and streams in the go2rtc after the link is being restored? I belive I have made it known since my first report.

this error has nothing to do with the stream and it was in my initial report. It is circular - running in the back process.
To prevent this from emerging I had to disable LPR for that camera and it started to display me the records of the events as before.
The reason I never encountered it before is that LPR is a new feature.

This error in your logs has nothing to do with LPR and disabling LPR is likely coincidental to your issue. LPR runs in a completely separate process than recording.

This error means that OpenCV is unable to process the recordings from your camera because of corrupt data. This is the message I would expect to see with the symptoms you are seeing.

I suggested go2rtc changes to use the ffmpeg module to try different reconnect logic.
