Icon in the middle of URLs

I ran into an issue - which is more a cosmetic one, where I have urls with parts that look like icon shortcodes, for example:
https://.......my.sharepoint.com/:v:/p/roland_hesz/.....

Is there a way to somehow prevent the plugin from replacing the ✌️ with ✌️ ?
The url is not broke, it works, but it looks really weird to have a url like: https://.......my.sharepoint.com/✌️/p/roland_hesz/.....

It's funny how how even here the : v : was replaced with the icon :D
