Extra Characters after social media icons

Has anyone experience the below issue of "_" being presented with all the social media icons but the last one. I have checked for extra characters within the config but dont see any issues.

I managed to fix this by changing the css file. I added the following in my file assets/css/extended/changes-to-default.css:

.social-icons {
  display: flex;
  gap: 0.55rem; /* or whatever spacing you want between icons */
  align-items: center;
}
