It would be nice if it automatically reconnects to the previously connected server after reconnecting to a wireless, etc. connection or when the connection is broken.

Such an implementation would require quite a lot of changes, as the direction of the connection is currently being negotiated during connection establishment. So maybe something for next winter - in any case, after the CGNAT traversal has been implemented.
