Boosted v5.2.0-beta1 is here! (this means that Boosted v5.2.0 is almost here!) — following Bootstrap v5.2.0-beta1 — This version is the biggest version since v5 itself. This release features redesigned docs, CSS variables for almost all our components, responsive offcanvas, new helpers and utilities, and lots of improvements under the hood.

New Orange components are available: Orange navbar, quantity selector, star rating, sticker, nested tabs, footer and title bars. We also worked on some dark variants of components available in Boosted.

Please review the GitHub v5.2.0-beta1 changelog for a complete list of changes since our previous release, and have a look at Boosted website in version 5.

New components and variants

Orange navbar

Orange navbar component will allow you to display Orange headers as it was the case in v4. A lot of variants are available with supra bars, global headers, and navigation under.

Check the examples page to see all of them and the sticky/fixed header example page with a minimize animation.

Footer

Headers wouldn't mean much without a Footer component. Here it is! Very modulable and so with several variants.

Title Bars

Use our Title bar component to display the title of your pages right below an Orange navbar.

Star rating & Quantity Selector

Check out our Star rating and Quantity Selector components ready to be included in your forms!

Sticker

Check out our Sticker component that will help you inform people about new offers. All variants are visible in the examples page​.

Dark variants

We have reintegrated some dark variants in this beta like the buttons and created some new for alerts, accordions, etc. This is still a work in progress but we plan to do it for all components in Boosted.

Orange developers and users, be our guests! Play with everything and we'd be pleased to have new issues on GitHub to spot some bugs or suggest features and improvements, and get in touch with us on Orange internal communication tool. This is especially true with this beta version! Let us know what could be mandatory for you and we will do our best to include it in the official v5.2.0!

You can also take a look at Boosted boards to follow our progress: we are right now focusing on finishing the v5.2.0 with updates in the documentation to identify what's in the documentation and is not compliant with the design guidelines, dark variants of components, and maybe the release of the Tag component.
