Schneidefunktion

Hallo zusammen,

ich nutze die gutenprint-printer-app als Snap auf einem Raspberry Pi 4 als Printserver für meinen DNP DS620 Dye-Sublimationsdrucker.
Die Druckaufträge kommen von einer Photobooth-Software (dslrBooth), die auf einem Windows-PC läuft.

Die Einrichtung funktioniert soweit gut – jedoch fehlt mir eine Möglichkeit, die Schneidefunktion beim 4x6”-Druck zu aktivieren (z. B. 2x 2x6” auf einem 4x6”-Print mit automatischem Schnitt).

In der klassischen CUPS-Umgebung konnte ich das über benutzerdefinierte Medienformate oder Optionen in der PPD-Datei steuern.
In der gutenprint-printer-app finde ich dafür aktuell keine entsprechende Option im Webinterface.

Frage/Vorschlag:
Wäre es möglich, in zukünftigen Versionen:
• eine Option für die Schneidefunktion bei 4x6” und ähnlichen Formaten zu integrieren?
• ggf. Presets wie „2x6 with cut“ bereitzustellen, ähnlich wie in den offiziellen DNP-Treibern?

Das würde die Nutzung in Photobooth-Setups wie meinem erheblich erleichtern.

I use the good print printer app as a snap on a Raspberry Pi 4 as a print server for my DNP DS620 dye sublimation printer.

The print jobs come from a Photobooth software (dslrBooth) that runs on a Windows PC.

The setup works well so far - but I lack a way to activate the cutting function for 4x6" printing (e.g. 2x 2x6" on a 4x6" print with automatic cut).

In the classic CUPS environment, I could control this via user-defined media formats or options in the PPD file.

In the gutenprint-printer-app I currently can't find a corresponding option in the web interface.

Question/Suppon:

Would it be possible in future versions:

• To integrate an option for the cutting function with 4x6” and similar formats?

• If necessary, provide presets such as "2x6 with cut", similar to the official DNP drivers?

That would make it much easier to use in photobooth setups like mine.
