I came across this project a while ago and got a bit bogged down with reading the documentation, since this is all new to me. I thought I'd have another attempt at finding articles or YouTube videos about it, but that's not easy with a common dictionary word as the name - it's quite hard to find much that specifically relates to this project beyond the repo and the github.io pages for it.
I notice there used to be a related project called MotionPlus, which has apparently been absorbed into this one. That's a better name to search on, except for the fact that Wii used it too.
A compound word like that, which isn't already in common use for too many things, seems like a good way to go. Anything where googling the word makes google ask "Did you mean ... ?" is probably a reasonable choice.
For example, googling CameraMotion gives that response, and does already have an established meaning, but it doesn't seem to be a very common one, so that's perhaps not a bad choice. If the project was called that and I search YouTube for "Rasberry Pi CameraMotion", there's a good chance I'd find any videos that were specific to this project. Searching for "Raspberry Pi Motion" may find me one or two, but they're mixed in with a lot of other results, and the search algorithm tends to favour popularity over relevance.
