Newbi with ip cameras

I'm experienced with Linux. I have recently bought some ip cameras. I would like to use motion or motionplus to monitor them. Icannot understand the documentation at all! Can anybody help me?

You need to be more specific the question/problem and tell the audience what you have tried, what you have read in the documentation, what wasn't clear, pointing to specific items, log reports, etc.

I would like to see screenshots of the parameters for an example ip camera.

I understand the issues. Mr-Dave supplied links with screenshots for setting up IP cameras. I followed them yesterday for a new IP camera I have that I couldn't get working even though I had two other IP cameras working. Turned out to be a SELINUX setting that was causing me the problems. There are screenshots in the videos.

Many settings are based on the camera you are using. Again the video points this out.
