There is no There's not yet an easy way to directly read blocks from a structure or clipboard item, I'm afraid. Best I can suggest is that you hide a scratch area in your map (usually underground, around the spawn location) and paste the clipboard item into it. Then you can read the blocks from the map. I have on my backlog to make editor clipboard items fully read/write - I just haven't gotten to it yet. |

I'm trying to read blocks from a clipboard, and the only way I know that doesn't involve placing the blocks in the world is by creating a structure. However, after copying the contents from the active selection, despite the clipboard having a size and writing to the world properly, the structure created from it has nothing.
