Format for time syncing

I feel like it would be helpful to have a format for time syncing. Like the timestamp in brackets or curlybraces at the end of each line.

It'd be a very nice feature, but will take away from the readability when the file is accessed in plaintext mode. This database is basically a ton of text (.txt) files, and adding a timestamp would require those files to bear a different extension, and won't be human-readable anymore. I thought of modern players being capable of mapping those lyrics to certain timestamps automatically using speech recognition. Or we could supply an additional file that hints at those timestamps, act as a map of sorts — this way we'll be able to have this feature, without any need to modify the source song text file.

That sounds good. Do you think it'd just be timestamps on the equivalent lines and a prefix in the filename that it's a timestamp file?

I think that should do it. There's been also some work done on translation mapping (#535), there's an open PR for that https://github.com/Lyrics/lyrics-database/pull/724/files — somewhat related. Keeping files for additional features side-by-side with the main lyrics file is preferable to overcomplicating and overloading the main text file. In my opinion, everything should be as unobtrusive as possible, to still keep things simple, yet allow for something advanced to be done.
