Intro:
Microsoft has added the 'Feature update' to Intune a while ago, allowing administrators to have more control over Windows feature updates. The admin can create a policy to push a specific feature update (e.g. Windows 11 24H2) to eligible devices. The admin can also choose rollout options (immediately, specific date etc.)
Feature Request:
CIPP is able to 'capture' a Windows Update ring, but not a Feature Update policy. Please allow CIPP users to push Feature update policies to customer tenants.
Additional information:
CIPP users can upload a Custom Configuration profile with the .JSON data but CIPP is unable to create the policy in a tenant.
Error message given:
Failed to add policy for : Failed to add or set policy for with display name Feature update to Win 11 24H2: A type named 'microsoft.graph.windowsFeatureUpdateProfile' could not be resolved by the model. When a model is available, each type name must resolve to a valid type.
