MCP is not working with the remote development using Rider

Details:

1. Installed the Jetbrains Rider 2025.1 with the "Remote development on Windows host machines" feature as described in this article: https://www.jetbrains.com/rider/whatsnew/
2. Successfully connected to the remote windows machine via SSH, installed MCP plugin on both client and host machines
3. When asking Claude to perform any READ operations via MCP it mostly fails, not able to read project directory, opened files, etc. I am not sure why, maybe because of editor delays? But currently its unusable at all :( So I am forced to use vscode with their agent mode and rock solid remote development support for now instead
