Hello
I guess this might be a bug.
So I guess jabref generally good but have a problem dealing with Latex unicode command.

For example, If i check integrity

There is latex warning : undefined command \polhk
and
Journal not found in abbreviation list

with the journal info below

'{S}wi\polhk{e}ch
Journal de Math'{e}matiques Pures et Appliqu'{e}es. Neuvi`eme S'{e}rie

Especially about the journal abbreviation
there are
Journal de Mathematieques Pures et Appliquees. Neuvieme Serie to abbrev J. Math. Pures Appl. (9)
in jabref built in list.

So I guess jabref does not identify those 2 item
Also so as a breakthrough, I tried to add
Journal de Math'{e}matiques Pures et Appliqu'{e}es. Neuvi`eme S'{e}rie
to my private journal csv file but It is not saved through jabref somehow.

JabRef 5.15--2024-07-10--1eb3493
Linux 6.13.6-arch1-1 amd64
Java 21.0.2
JavaFX 22.0.1+7

Hi,
In the latest dev version I cannot reproduce this, the journal is correctly converted:

 Journal de Math'{e}matiques Pures et Appliqu'{e}es. Neuvi`eme S'{e}rie

both
dots/dotles and

There is latex warning : undefined command \polhk
Seems like JabRef cannot parse this command.
From this Thread, it seems you can try to use \k instead of \polhk
As you can see from the screenshot, JabRef can parse this and conversion to unicode works.

Do you have link/DOI to the full entry?
