UPDATE: I tried to install a game (Dead by Daylight) through Epic Games Launcher. to shorten the download, I moved the files manually and when Installing the game it only had to verify the files. When trying to launch it for the fist time, it asked for admin privileges, I accepted, it launched some command line (blank, I coun't see what it was doing). The game launched fine. Closed Epic. Opened Heroic, tried to launch the game, and it launched successfully. Tried to launch a different game (A short hike), and it launched successfully too. This seems to indicate to me that Heroic Games Launcher is missing something when installing, since it appears to depend on Epic Games Launcher installing some component first or something. This is my log now:

can you check if the build from this PR #2930 https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/actions/runs/5701012468 fixes your issue? |
No, it doesn't fix the issue. These were the steps I took to recreate the bug (since I "fixed" it by installing Epic Games Launcher):
|
Describe the bug
I updated HGL to the latest version 2.9.1 (OS: Winsows 10), logged into my accounts, Installed Dead by Daylight, and this message showed up after ending the download, and it shows up whenever I try to play the game:
As instructed by the message, I've already tried to log out and into my Epic Games account, but that didn't fix the issue.
I also tried deleting Heroic Cache, but no luck.
I thought "Lats time I used Heroic, I also had Epic installed, maybe I need to have EGL installed so heroic uses something from there (I dunno, I was running out of ideas), so I tried installing EGL, but it didn't work either.
I have also checked with other games (A Short Hike), and this error happens too, it isn't exclusive to Dead by Daylight.
I don't know how to troubleshoot this further.
