Hi,
Heroic on flatpak use Mesa from flathub instead of the System installed Mesa. Mesa from flathub is outdated an because of that Proton Experimental an newer Proton-GE Versions have problems. Most games will not run.
Steam has the same situation but they have an Steam Beta Version on flathub-beta that use a more recent MESA from flathub-beta.
I will not say that it will be a good idea to use Mesa-Beta for the stable release of Heroic, but perhaps a Heroic Beta that use Mesa-Beta.
For general flatpaks that doen't really matter, but for gaming, an up to date Mesa and Proton is key.
