Overview

Currently IF plugin does not have any plugin to convert distance to carbon. Our method focuses on network emissions, evaluating emission rates per kilometer by analyzing geographical distances and network transmitted between regions. Leveraging geolocation API technologies, we accurately calculate emissions associated with data transmission. This tailored approach informs strategies for reducing network emissions, promoting sustainability and informed decision-making.

Very interesting idea - i can imagine how this would make carbon estimates more accurate for many systems. Looking forward to trying it out!
