On the list of subscribed channels on the left that FreeTube replicates, standard YouTube tends to sort these options based on recent viewing habits and subscriptions, keeping the top of the list filled with channels you might want to keep an eye on or need a reminder that you were going through their backlog. While I imagine the sort of tracking behind that could be done locally, a nice substitute with potentially more uses would be the ability to manually pin channels to the top of the list.
A simple right click option to "pin to top" could do a lot to make FreeTube more useful for those of us not exclusively concerned with our sub boxes.

Sounds like a solid feature request. For the moment you can somewhat achieve this by creating a profile with the channels you want to pin and then only have their videos in the subscription page when you switch to that profile.
