We made a number of changes recently to the design experience within Budibase, including:

• better default app design
• revamped navigation
• new text component
• Table style improvements - a crowd pleaser!
• Expanded color palette

Can I add to the design update wish list an 'old style' table component with even less functionality?
I'm still using the legacy tables in some apps as they provide a table without all the extras (like row numbers) and nicer basic styling.

We're going to be releasing a new PDF feature in the next couple of weeks, which includes a more printable table component. It's deliberately all plain text and contains no scrolling, so hopefully that might help!

If you still want some bells and whistles but just some new style options, feel free to open feature requests for the current normal table. The table has been updated recently so the "quiet" option does make it look much cleaner:
