Hello,

I am using Linphone to test my SIP, RTP capturing project. And I have enabled the Audio codecs PCMU (G.711 ulaw) & PCMA (G.711 alaw) only from the Linphone settings, rest of them are disabled. Restarted Linphone and tested with the SIP, RTP capture, and its showing only G.729 codec after accepting the call.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Linphone: Desktop 5.2.6 - Qt5.15.2, Core 5.3.72

I am using the Asterisk Server in my Oracle Virtual Box (Ubuntu 22.04), and configured the SIP.conf only to allow ulaw and alaw. I am also using Mizudroid in my Android device and the settings for allowing only PCMU (G.711 ulaw) & PCMA (G.711 alaw) works fine. From Linphone, the settings is not working.

The entire VoIP setup looks like:
Server: Asterisk Server, Ubuntu22.04 (Running with Oracle Virtualbox installed on Windows 10 Pro 64bit)
Caller 1: Linphone, installed on the same Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Caller 2: Mizudroid, installed on Android phone

Note: all the devices are on the same network.

Please tell help me to solve this issue, as I am new here with Linphone.

Thanks
