Do Touchpad gestures work?

Before I spend too much time on this, do Touchpad gestures work? Like pinch, magnify, scroll? I have tried them on Windows and Mac, and just can't get them to work. I'm struggling to find examples of this too.

I've trimmed down my code to simply this:

        _grid.AddHandler(Gestures.PointerTouchPadGestureRotateEvent,OnRotate,RoutingStrategies.Bubble);
        _grid.AddHandler(Gestures.PointerTouchPadGestureMagnifyEvent,OnMagnify,RoutingStrategies.Bubble);
        _grid.AddHandler(Gestures.PointerTouchPadGestureSwipeEvent, OnSwipe, RoutingStrategies.Bubble);
        _grid.AddHandler(Gestures.DoubleTappedEvent, OnDoubleTapped, RoutingStrategies.Bubble);

Only DoubleTapped works, _grid is a full screen grid with a background colour, ideally I want this to work with DataTemplates, but I can't even get this basic proof of concept to work.

These are expected to work on MacOS, not on Windows.

Thanks, I'll try again on Mac. I can live without it on Windows I think.
