Describe the feature

Hi there, I am working on a resource pack that overhauls UI, and looks like two major features are missing:

Font color customization.
Ability to disable or at least recolor that outline on upgrade slots (white border in the screenshot is in game).

Reasons why it should be considered

Missing options.
