per #1416 it seems Net core 3.1 and net framework 4.7.2 are least used.

.NET 5 End of Support was May 8, 2022.
due to those reasons future version will be release targeting the following frameworks:

NET7
NET6
.NET Framework 4.8
.NET Framework 4.7.1 (for those who cannot upgrade to 4.8)
