Navigating back after visiting note from widget

Device: Pixel 7a
Android Version: 14 
Orgzly Revived Version: 1.8.17 (fdroid) 

Good: Within the app, when visiting a note from a search view, the back gesture (in my case slide-in from left) brings me back to the search view.

Bad: When doing the same from the widget, the first back shows the notebook, then list of notebooks, then closes the app and therefore displays the widget again.

If would be great if maneuvering back, after visiting a note from the search view from within the widget, the first back would close the app, after checking for potential need/wish to save. This would enable quick viewing of notes from the widget search view.
